Today I renewed the Art du Monde PO Box for another lovely six months, and tomorrow I take a giiiiiiiiiiiiant carload of art stuff over to my new house.
Unfortunately I got three packages back in the mail - I left the packages at the new house (I’m at the old one now) and I will try and contact those people to resolve address issues as soon as possible (most likely tomorrow night).
I am just so excited for this summer you guys! So much productivity!
Hey guys! This is a general update about what is going on.
Though, whenever I make an update, someone unfollows the blog. Oh well!
So I’m moving in a couple of days, packing my whole room up and moving almost 100 miles away. I start my new job on Monday, the one that pays a whole lot better, and I’m looking into getting a discounted rate on mail through their mailing room (it’s a real big company!). I hope that pans out!
In any case, I received only one picture from the last huge batch :( If you’ve got them, send them! I would really really love to see pictures.
Up next on the agenda is renewing the post box for another six months!

everything is completely completely private. only miss nikki and I can see the addresses on a private document.
all different types! lately there’s been a lot of photography and graphic arts, if only because its easier to mail. however, i’ve done all different kinds.
no there is not! you can go to the countries section of the site and see all of the places where I’ve sent stuff!
and you can also send your own art, materials, or things just for me too at my address, which you can find in the FAQ section. :D

Q:I hope you don't feel too pressured by this whole art shenanigan. I often checked the mailing waves to see if anything had changed then felt sad to see nothing had been altered. I thought about it, (and then you posted also your feelings, haha) and you're sending out art to tons of us... for free. Out of your wallet. It's a beautiful thing to do and it'd be very harsh and terribly rude of me and others to expect you to get everything done, so I'm just letting you know I don't feel angry at you for not being able to ship out art just yet. If anything, we should all be thanking you for your enormous and glorious act of kindness. So: thank you! In the meantime, I'll be patiently waiting for my wonderful artwork; I'm excited! :D

Tonight I have Honors night, and then a Calc test on things I haven’t been able to be in class to learn on next Wednesday. I’m just super busy and it sucks that I have to make this decision.

Though I am surprised that there are no submitted pictures yet for the last huge wave that was sent out, I do feel the need to make an announcement on the current condition of this blog that will affect anyone else waiting for a package.
I felt it was fair to let you guys know that it will soon be very difficult for me to afford to send out any more packages. I’m about to begin Finals at school, and I’m really tied up with finalizing financial aid for college.
I do begin my new WONDERFUL job on June 13th, and three weeks after that is my first paycheck. And at that point, finances will no longer be an issue.
I do hope that this action does not affect your opinion of me, as you know that this is basically a one-woman show, though Nikki is a huge help when it comes to getting all of this information streamlined for me!
I’m just finding everything really overwhelming right now, and I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I feel like this is the best action I could take. I’m actually really upset and worried that you all will be mad at me for this, but this action is being taken for my own sanity, really.
I would also like to mention that I will not stop making things for you. I just picked up some really awesome stuff today, and I will not stop the supply of art for you guys. Just as well, I would love to still receive things from around the world because I think it’s the coolest thing when you guys send me stuff.
In summation, I’m upset that I have to do this, but I’m just trying to finish high school and not go broke in the process.
